How much does a landing page cost?

A landing page costs anywhere from about $29 a month on a builder to a few thousand dollars from an agency. One published guide puts freelancers at $500 to $1,500 and agencies at $1,000 to $5,000 or more per page. Ongoing costs (hosting, tools, testing and ad spend) come on top. Our own price is a fixed €490 for one page, with copy, design, build, a form and tracking.

Landing page prices vary because "landing page" can mean a template you fill in yourself or a page written, designed and tracked by a team. The useful question is what each price includes. Published market figures in this guide come from builders' own pricing pages and one comparison guide written by a builder company, so they have a commercial interest. Use them as rough benchmarks.

The guide's ranges overlap, and its freelancer and agency figures are broad. Freelancer rates especially depend on the person. Get at least two quotes and compare what each includes.

Builders: Unbounce, Leadpages and similar

A builder gives you a drag-and-drop editor and hosting for a monthly fee. You write the copy and make the design choices. Prices from the vendors' own pages when we checked:

  • Unbounce lists Starter at $29 a month (up to 500 visitors), Build at $99 (up to 20,000 visitors), Experiment at $149 and Optimize at $249 when billed monthly. Billed yearly, these come to $22, $74, $112 and $187 a month. A/B testing is listed on Experiment and above.
  • Leadpages showed Pro at €29 a month, Business at €49, Grow at €115 and Optimize at €229, with A/B testing from Grow. The page also quotes dollar prices in its FAQ that differ from the plan cards, so check it before you buy.

Builders suit someone who can write a clear offer and does not mind spending a few evenings on it. The cost is monthly, so the first-year total is higher than the monthly figure suggests.

Freelancer versus agency

A freelancer typically quotes for the build and sometimes the copy. An agency quote often adds strategy, copywriting, project management and testing. That is why agency quotes run higher, and why two quotes with the same label are not always comparable.

Before you accept a quote, ask:

  1. Who writes the copy, and is it included?
  2. How many rounds of revisions are included?
  3. Is the form connected and tested, and is each submission tracked?
  4. Who owns the page, domain and data afterwards?
  5. What does a change cost once the page is live?

What a landing page price should include

  • Copy for one offer: headline, sub-line, body and a call to action
  • A design that fits your brand and reads well on a phone
  • A form or button that works, such as a contact form, WhatsApp or booking link
  • Analytics and conversion tracking, so you know what each visit did
  • Page title, description and basic speed work
  • A set number of revision rounds

Things that are often extra: photos and video, a logo, extra pages, hosting, ad spend and changes after the last revision round. If a quote does not say, ask.

A/B testing: when it pays

Testing a headline or button only gives a reliable answer with enough traffic. Our pricing page notes that testing needs roughly 5,000 sessions a month. Below that, the test takes so long or is so noisy that you are better off making one clear improvement at a time, reading the form and call data, and collecting feedback from real customers. If your page gets a few hundred visits, spend on getting the first version right and on the traffic itself.

Builders include A/B tools only on their upper plans, as the Unbounce and Leadpages figures show. With an agency, testing is usually a monthly service. Ours is a conversion audit at €390 and tests at €490 a month, covered on the conversion testing page.

Ongoing costs to budget for

CostWhat to expect
Builder subscriptionMonthly or yearly fee while the page is live
HostingIncluded in a builder. On a custom page, either a hosting fee or a care plan (ours starts at €39 a month)
DomainA small yearly fee, if you use a new one
Ad spend or emailThe page needs traffic. Ads are separate, and you pay the platform
ChangesIncluded for a short period, then billed or covered by a plan
TestingA tool subscription or a service, from the point you have enough traffic

Which option fits

  • Under a few hundred visits a month and a simple offer: a builder, or a freelancer with a template.
  • One paid campaign where the page decides whether the ad pays off: a fixed-price page with written copy and tracking.
  • Several pages, an unusual offer or heavy testing: an agency scope or a dedicated retainer.

FAQ

How much does a landing page cost?

Published figures run from about $29 a month on a builder to a few thousand dollars per page from an agency. Price follows scope: who writes the copy, how much design is custom and whether tracking and testing are included. Ours is from €490 for one page.

What is the difference between a landing page and a website?

A website helps visitors browse. A landing page serves one offer and one action, which suits visitors coming from an ad, an email or a QR code.

Is a landing page cheaper than a website?

Usually yes, because it is one page with one goal. If you need several pages, a small business website can be better value.

Do I need A/B testing?

Not at the start. Testing needs traffic, and our pricing page puts the minimum at roughly 5,000 sessions a month. Until then, getting the offer, headline and form right matters more.

Does the price include ads or traffic?

Not normally. A landing page converts the visitors who arrive. Ads, email and search are separate costs.

How OnePDA can help

Our landing page design is a one-off price from €490, excluding VAT where it applies, paid as a 50% deposit and 50% on delivery. It includes:

  • copy, design and build
  • a form or WhatsApp button
  • analytics and conversion tracking
  • two rounds of revisions
  • a fixed price before we start

Photos, video, logo design, ad spend and hosting are not included. Hosting can go on a Care plan from €39 a month. Longer pages and booking systems are quoted before we start. We do not promise a conversion rate, because it depends on your offer and your traffic. If you already have a page and want it improved, see conversion testing or CRO services.

Want a landing page at a fixed price?

One page, written, designed and built to bring enquiries from one source of traffic. From €490, with two rounds of revisions.
