The problem.
Luis Guillermo Fonseca Herrera is a criminal defence lawyer, accredited private investigator and technical consultant in Costa Rica, with a long career at the national judicial investigation agency (OIJ). People look for a lawyer like him on a bad day, from a phone, and often do not know which kind of help they need or what stage their case is in. The site had three jobs: explain the three services in plain words, show why his background matters, and give a worried visitor an easy first step. It is also built to be found when people search for a criminal lawyer or a private investigator in Costa Rica.
What it looks like.

Opens in this tab. It is a demo copy: forms and outside links are switched off.
What is on the page, section by section.
First screen
His name, his role in one line, and a calm paragraph written for someone facing an investigation, with WhatsApp and call buttons.
A visitor decides in a few seconds whether this is the right person. The tone is steady and plain, with no stock courtroom imagery.
"How can I help?"
Defence, private investigation and technical consultancy, each in a sentence and each with its own page.
Three overlapping services confuse people. Separate pages explain each one properly and let each appear for its own search, such as criminal lawyer or private investigator in Costa Rica.
"Where is your case?"
Six situations: summoned to testify, a relative detained, a charge filed, trial coming, victim of a crime, need to investigate something. Picking one shows two or three plain sentences and a WhatsApp button whose message names the stage.
People write in more readily when they can say where they are. The lawyer receives the message with context already in it. Without JavaScript the page shows the same answers as a plain list.
A career on a map
The posts he held in six Costa Rican cities, marked on a country tile, with the role shown when you hover or tap.
It shows experience instead of claiming it. The map comes from his own career, so it is specific to him.
Opinion pieces
Three short articles on security, prisons and the criminal justice system.
They show how he thinks, and they give the site fresh pages that he can add to over time.
Questions and contact
Short answers to the first questions people have, such as when to look for a criminal lawyer, then a contact page with WhatsApp, phone and a message form.
Answering the first questions removes the reasons to hesitate. The form is the fallback for people who would rather write an email.
How we would adapt this to your business.
- Lawyers, accountants, doctors and consultants: a "where are you?" picker sorts visitors into the right first message, and you receive it with context.
- One page per service, and per city if you serve several, so each can show up when people search for exactly that.
- Replace slogans with proof that belongs to you: a real timeline, qualifications and opinions you stand behind.
