What Fresha does better

Fresha does several things that Cita does not.

  • It brings new clients through its marketplace. If your diary depends on people discovering you, that is an advantage.
  • It takes card payments inside the system, with its own readers and published rates.
  • It has many add-ons, including loyalty, an AI receptionist and accounting with Xero.
  • It offers phone and chat support on the Team plan, and an Enterprise plan for chains.

Where Cita fits

Cita fits when you already have clients by word of mouth or Instagram and want a booking page of your own with your own agenda. The booking lands in your agenda, reminders go out under your business name and you pay nothing per client.

For a salon with four professionals, Fresha's Team fee is 4 × €12.95 = €51.80 a month plus VAT. Cita is €59 at list price, or €39 at the founding price for the first 10 businesses, with no set-up fee and an unlimited team. The two do not include the same things, so compare what you need.

We have no marketplace, so we do not bring you new clients as Fresha does. We do not take card payments yet either.

Who should pick which

Pick Fresha if you want a marketplace to send you new clients and card payments built into the booking tool. Pick Cita if you already have clients and want a booking page and agenda that are yours, with no percentage on any client.
