What Qamarero does better

If you want a system to run the whole venue, Qamarero covers much more ground than Carta. It does better in these areas.

  • The POS and payment. The POS is where its product starts, and ordering and paying from the table is in every plan. Carta has no POS and no payment at the table yet.
  • Kitchen and floor: handheld ordering for waiters and a kitchen display screen.
  • Delivery: its own delivery, links to third-party platforms and rider management.
  • Cost control: stock in real time, costs and shift planning.
  • Support: its page says help is available every day of the year, from 09:00 to 00:00.

Where Carta fits

Carta fits when the POS is not your problem. If you already have one you like, you can add a digital menu with a QR code, an allergen filter, table orders to a bar screen and bookings without changing how you take payment.

It also fits when budget decides. Menu is €9 a month. Carta is €29 a month, or €15 at the founding price for the first 10 venues, and Grow is €49 or €39. There is no set-up fee, no commission on orders or bookings, and every plan has a 30-day free trial.

Carta is not a POS, does not take payment at the table yet and does not manage stock or shifts. If you need those, Qamarero is the fuller option.

Who should pick which

Pick Qamarero if you want to replace your POS and run the whole venue from one system. Pick Carta if you keep your current POS and want a digital menu, table orders and bookings, or if you want to start at €9 a month and sign up yourself, without a demo or an installation quote.
